Middleton-in-Teesdale is a charming market town in the beautiful countryside on County Durham. The town dates back to the Bronze Age but more recently is popular destination for the many tourists staying in the town before setting off to explore the Pennines. Home to the imposing Raby Castle, an enormous medieval castle, still very much intact with a fabulous court and majestic turrets – Raby Castle makes a brilliant day out. Go in search of the country’s largest waterfall, High Force Waterfall which thunders over seventy feet of enormous rocks.
West House is an 18th century, stone-built, semi-detached rural cottage set among beautiful grounds near Middleton-in-Teesdale, in the Yorkshire Dales. The traditional exterior houses a contemporary interior with touches of yesteryear, an open fire, and spectacular views from all vantage points.
