The Old Kitchen is a charming, newly refurbished moorland holiday home in Exford. This two-bedroom property is perfect for up to four guests and is located just half a mile from the centre of Exford, within the beautiful Exmoor National Park. This Exmoor holiday cottage is an excellent place to explore the stunning landscapes and nearby landmarks. The property includes an EV charging point and ample parking for convenience.

The Old Kitchen offers comfortable accommodation for a family-friendly stay. It sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed. The ground-floor bedroom provides easy access, while the first-floor bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom with a bath having an overhead shower. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area on the ground floor is spacious and modern. The ground floor also has a shower room with a toilet and hand basin.

Snug on the first floor offers a cosy seating area with an L-shaped sofa and a TV. This space is an ideal spot for relaxation after a day of exploring. The private patio at the front of the cottage features a table and chairs, perfect for outdoor dining. The patio is enclosed by a garden gate, ensuring privacy and safety.

The Old Kitchen provides several amenities to enhance your stay. These include WiFi, heating, and electricity. Towels and bed linen are included for your convenience. A travel cot and highchair can be requested for a small supplement, making this property ideal for families with young children. Please note that pets are not allowed.

On arrival, guests will find homemade cake, bread, and jam as a welcome treat. Check-in is from 4 pm, and check-out is by 10 am. Guests are requested to leave the property clean and tidy to ensure it is ready for the next visitors.

The Old Kitchen is entered through a stone archway and garden gate leading to the front door. The open-plan living area includes a newly fitted kitchen, a dining table with four chairs, a sofa, and two additional chairs. The ground-floor bedroom and shower room are easily accessible from the hallway. The ensuite bathroom in the first-floor bedroom features a bath with an overhead shower, a toilet, and a hand basin. The private patio at the front of the property is perfect for relaxing outdoors.

Guests must provide a security deposit of £50 when booking. This will be added to the total price and refunded after your stay unless there is damage to the property or its contents. The Old Kitchen is a non-smoking property.

Off-road parking and an electric vehicle charging point are available for two cars.

The cottage’s location, just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Exford, offers easy access to local amenities. The village is built around a traditional village green with a children’s play area. In Exford, you will find two pubs serving meals, a tea shop, and a village shop selling essentials.
